Serving students in non-traditional formats has been a theme of my academic career as an administrator over the last 20 years. I am proud of the ways we have worked to redefine co-curricular experiences in support of modern students’ success. Combined with my Master’s studies in leadership and my pastoral appointment, I aim to support students to not only understand content, but to make meaning of their learning.

I am passionate about helping students move from transaction to a place of transformation. In teaching, I get to partner with students and help them write the story of their lives. They have power. They are enough. Their efforts matter. I love teaching because I get draw that out, empower, and develop their strengths.
